Vazha Dadianidze

Poet, Playwright, and Translator - Vazha Dadianidze was born in Gori on 9 December 1934. He worked as a senior scientist at the Gori Scientific Research Institute of Industrial Process Automation, and from 1978 onwards as chief designer in the Design Bureau of the Ministry of Food Industry in Tbilisi. In 1981, Dadianidze took on the role of a literary consultant of the Gori branch of the Union of Writers. In 1993, he was appointed as the director of "Farnavazi" Publishing House. Dadianidze has also authored a collection of poetry and three collections of plays. His plays have been successfully performed at Giorgi Eristavi Theater in Gori.
